Kristin L. Doyle
KRISTIN L. DOYLE joined Arciero McMillan & Burgess, PC in 2019 as a senior associate and became a partner in 2021. She has been practicing law in New York state since 2008 and is focused on defending doctors, nurses, hospitals, and healthcare groups against medical malpractice claims.and providing legal advice.
Kristin received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Wheaton College (IL), and her law degree cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school and immediately afterward, Kristin clerked at Arnold & Porter and was a summer associate at Howrey & Simon, two of Washington, D.C.’s leading law firms at the time. She was a judicial clerk to the Honorable Marion Blank Horn of the United States Court of Federal Claims from 1996-97.
Following her clerkship, Kristin moved to Washington State, where her husband, a physician in the U.S. Army, was stationed. For six years she was a deputy prosecuting attorney, civil division, in Thurston County, with responsibilities that included serving as the county’s HIPAA legal advisor. In 2008, following a two-year assignment in Germany, Kristin and her family moved to the Hudson Valley area. She worked at the United States Military Academy at West Point as the intellectual property law counsel for almost two years, and in 2010 she entered private practice with a small firm concentrating on premises liability defense litigation. She then worked as medical malpractice defense attorney for seven years before joining Arciero McMillan & Burgess, PC in 2019.
Kristin is a member of the New York State and Washington State Bar Associations, as well as the Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties. Her community activities include serving on the Cornwall on Hudson Ethics Committee and Riverfest Committee.
